Charlie Chaplin’s Nonsense Song in “Modern Times”

The first time you hear him speak! (Okay, he sings. And it’s all in gibberish. But still!)

Actually, this is the second time Chaplin’s ‘voice’ is heard. The first time is at the beginning of “City Lights” when the statue is being dedicated. Their ‘speech’ was made by a paper reed mouth instrument used by Chaplin.
