I’m not entirely sure why, but I love this picture of Mabel Normand:
Private photo taken on the set of her film Mickey. She is in costume and relaxing between her filming and a break from lunch.

This is private photo taken of my great-aunt Mabel Normand on the set of her film Mickey (1916/17). She is dressed in costume and relaxing between her filming and a break for lunch-written in the hand of my grandfather Claude (her brother) copy from Normand Family Archive (c) 1931 Claude Drury Normand/Stephen Joseph Normand (c)1973.
